1/4 cup fresh strawberries finely chopped

Instructions
- Start by heating the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large, heavy pan to 350°F (175°C) over medium heat.
- While the oil heats up, prepare the cheesecake filling. In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the finely chopped strawberries.
- Cut the biscuit dough into donut shapes using a small round cutter to create a hole in the center. If you prefer filled donuts, leave them whole.
- Carefully drop the dough pieces into the hot oil, frying for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove them from the oil and let them drain on paper towels.
- As the donuts cool slightly, prepare the coating by combining granulated sugar and cinnamon (if using) in a small bowl. Roll each donut in the sugar mixture until fully coated.
- Once cooled enough to handle, stuff each donut with the strawberry cheesecake filling using a piping bag or a small spoon.
